Playing without an account
Your park, purchases, rider progress and preferences are saved on your iPhone. An account is optional. The app does not upload a guest park to our cloud save service unless you choose to sign in and use online saving.
Optional accounts and cloud saves
If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the account identifier and the name and email address supplied by that provider. Apple may supply a private relay email address. We use Firebase Authentication to manage sign-in and linked providers.
Cloud saving stores your game progress, save revision, save time and a device label in Firebase Firestore. Progress includes your park’s buildings, balance, riders, visits, completed rides, events and purchase-delivery records. This lets us restore and synchronise your park and resolve save conflicts. Authentication credentials are handled by the provider SDKs; your cloud park does not contain your Apple or Google password.
Leaderboards
The Wakepark account leaderboard is optional. If you join, a generated park alias and your completed-lap score, tower level and score-update information become visible to other players. Your account’s real name and email are not included in that entry. You can leave the leaderboard in the app.
Apple Game Center is a separate optional service. If enabled, the app submits supported game scores and uses your Game Center identity under Apple’s settings and privacy policy. Deleting a Wakepark account does not delete your Apple account or Game Center records.
Purchases
When an in-app purchase is offered and made, Apple handles payment. Wakepark processes verified product, transaction and entitlement information to deliver purchases, prevent duplicate delivery and restore eligible purchases. A park-specific account token helps keep delayed purchases attached to the correct account and park. We do not receive your payment card details.
Photos, clips and notifications
Photo mode captures the game view. Highlight recording uses Apple ReplayKit after your action; account and purchase screens are excluded from game capture. Captures are not automatically uploaded to us. You choose whether to preview, save or share them using iPhone controls, and the chosen destination has its own privacy practices.
Park reminders use local iPhone notifications with your permission. You can turn them off at any time. The app does not need your precise location, contacts, camera or microphone to play.
Advertising and analytics
This release does not include an advertising SDK or a separate gameplay analytics SDK. Sign-in and cloud-service SDKs may process service diagnostics and usage information for their own security and analytics purposes. We do not sell personal information or track you across other companies’ apps and websites for targeted advertising. If a future release introduces advertising or different data practices, we will update this policy and request any required choices before those features run.
Service providers and security
Apple, Google and Firebase process information needed to provide authentication, cloud storage, purchases and platform features. This can include account and device identifiers, connection information such as IP addresses, and service diagnostics. Google Sign-In’s published disclosures also cover account contact details, coarse location estimated from IP addresses, and service usage information. These provider disclosures are broader than the name and email shown by Wakepark; the app does not request access to your phone number or device location. Our support website is hosted on our infrastructure and delivered through Cloudflare; its connection and security services may process similar technical information. The site has no advertising, analytics scripts or optional tracking cookies.
We use encrypted connections, account-based cloud access controls and local recovery copies to protect saved progress. Service providers may process data in countries other than your own. No online service can promise absolute security.

Retention and your choices
We retain your online account and cloud park while you use the service, unless you request deletion. Delete them in More → Your account → Delete account. The app confirms your identity, deletes your online park and Wakepark leaderboard entry, and removes your Firebase account. If a step fails, it reports the problem so you can retry. Provider security records and backups may persist according to the provider’s retention policies or legal requirements.
Your on-device park and recovery copies remain after signing out or deleting the online account. Removing the app’s local data removes those local copies; do not do this if you want to keep a guest park. Purchase records may need to remain with Apple for billing, refunds or legal requirements. Contact us for help accessing, correcting or deleting information we control.
If you contact support, we use the information you send to answer and resolve your request. We keep relevant correspondence as needed to handle the issue and any follow-up or legal obligations.
Children and family settings
Wakepark has no chat or free-text public profiles. Parents and guardians can use Apple’s purchase and account restrictions. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information that should be removed.
Changes
We will update this page when the app’s data practices change. The effective date above identifies this version. Material changes that require a new choice will also be presented in the app.
